Mole on nose – shaved or excised?

Ola forum goers.  Do Newlife doctors answer forum questions? I need to have something confirmed.  You see I have a mole near the tip of my nose and I don’t want my nose to have a crater where it used to lie after surgery.  I asked two different physicians and both gave me different answers.  One said to have it shaved while the other said to have it excised.  So which one should I go for? The doctors who work in Newlife seem credible enough to be capable of giving me the answer I need.  Thanks doctors in advance!
