Woman Had Surgery to Look Like Nationally Controversial Actress

Besima Nesic, a huge Angelina Jolie fan from Bosnia, went through her savings to look like her idol. Unfortunately for her, Jolie turned out to be the country’s most hated woman.

What made Jolie a despised character is her role in “Land of Blood and Honey”, which stirred up ethnic hatred that began the region’s civil war two decades in the past, banning the film in parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina as a result.

Besima, age 31, shared she spent above 10,000 GBP on surgery just so she could resemble the star who was detested enough to be prohibited from filming in the country. In reality, her characteristics are very close to Jolie’s; she only wanted to increase her breast size at first, but it soon went out of control. Now, Jolie’s signature features, such as her plump lips and big breasts, are owned by her — even her Buddhist prayer tattoo on the shoulder.

Although Besima has worries about Jolie’s reputation on her homeland, she hopes people will see the actress for what she is and not for the role she played.
